My name is Rebecca Wallner and I am a born-again Christian. I believe the Lord has been preparing me all my life to step into this new role as principal of Litchfield Christian School.

I grew up on a farm outside of Waggoner. I learned my Bible at Zion Lutheran Church in Farmersville as a child, and graduated valedictorian (like my other sisters and brother) from Girard High School. I graduated from Sangamon State with a Math teaching degree. I taught for 22 years at Lanphier High School (where my mom graduated as salutatorian) in Springfield. Teaching allowed me to go on many Christian mission trips in the summer months. 

I stepped away from teaching 8 years ago to take care of my elderly parents in Litchfield, IL. Both parents graduated into glory – dad in 2020 and mom in 2023. I jumped back into teaching math at Mt. Olive for the 2023-2034 school year.

I enjoy taking walks, gardening, fellowshipping with believers, and seeing God’s kingdom increase. I am currently working on a Masters in Biblical Counseling from Westminister Theological Seminary as an online student. I also have 2 cats (‘Black’ and ‘Yellow’). Have you on The Lord believed?
